2025 ALCAM Annual Assembly

ALCAM to hold its Annual Assembly and its first Creative Camp in Atlántida, Uruguay

On November 28 and 29, the resort town of Atlántida (Uruguay) will host two major gatherings for Latin American music: the first Creative Camp and ALCAM’s Annual Assembly.

The Creative Camp will bring together authors and composers from more than 10 countries from the region for a creative experience coordinated by Uruguayan music producer Diego Maturro. The camp will also feature a workshop led by renowned Mexican songwriter Mónica Vélez (SACM Composition Academy Director). Mónica has received multiple awards for her career and her contributions to major Spanish-language music hits.

ALCAM’s Annual Assembly will be held at the same time. A new board will be elected and recent projects from previous administration will be presented, reaffirming the alliance’s commitment to promoting and defending the rights of Latin American music creators.

The gathering in Atlántida is a collaboration between ALCAM and AGADU, strengthening the alliance’s role as a network for integration, training, and empowerment of Latin American authors.
