The release of the Fair Trade Music study received significant media attention, with around 15 news articles published in prominent music trade press such as Music Week, MusikMarkt and Complete Music Update. IP-Watch, the Geneva-based publication specialised in covering intellectual property issues, also highlighted the FTM study on their social media channels.
In addition, all the major US-based news wires (Reuters, Bloomberg, Yahoo, etc.) as well as some significant Spanish news outlets (El Mundo, El Diario, El Comercio) covered the release of the FTM study.
The CIAM congress was also prominently featured on CISAC’s social media delivering some very positive results. CISAC tweeted actively and consistently during the CIAM Congress, building a very positive conversation with followers and key influencers. As a result of this pro-active campaign on Twitter, the number of impressions (people reached) increased from 84 impressions before CIAM to nearly 5,000 impressions after the Congress.
